Abstract

We present a detailed analysis of the thermodynamical properties as well as thermal effects on the classical dynamics of the SU(2) Lipkin model. Particular attention is devoted to the temperature dependence of fixed points and bifurcation of equilibria. We find that qualitatively, temperature effects tend to counterbalance the effects of the two-body interaction.
