Transition from Special Student to Regular Student

Students admitted as special students may request transition to regular student status to continue in the program.

Before submitting the request, read the NOREG (ICA 37-356) and the PG-EAM Internal Regulations.

Request process:

1. The student submits the request to the advisor through a detailed technical report.
2. The advisor evaluates the report and issues an opinion.
3. The request proceeds to the area representative and institutional processing.

Expected contents of the technical report:

• Courses taken and academic performance.
• Definition of the research topic and objectives.
• Literature review.
• Current status of the work and results already obtained.
• Scientific production in preparation.
• Planning and completion timeline.
