Simple model of oxygen permeation through defects in transparent coatings

Resumo
A model for gas permeation through defects in barrier coatings is described. The model allows to evaluate permeation through a single- or through multiple circular defects in the coating, also in special cases of size distributions and non-cylindrical symmetry.
